Park Reservation Policies

Browne’s Ferry Park is a common area accessible for all Browne’s Ferry HOA members. Reservations for private events are available up to six months in advance with a minimum of 2 days’ notice. All reservations are subject to board discretion. Each home is allowed to reserve the park for a SPECIAL EVENT (4-hour window) twice per year. Each home can reserve the court for play in 1-hour increments at the board’s discretion.

Reservations Available to Members in Good Standing

Park and court reservations are available only to Browne’s Ferry Homeowners Association members in good standing, as described in Covenant Section 4.3:

“During any period in which a member shall be in default in the payment of any annual, special or other periodic assessment levied by the Association, the voting rights of such member may be suspended by the Board of Directors until such assessment, is paid. In the event of violation by a member of any rules or regulation established by the Board of Directors, such member’s voting rights may be suspended by the board after a hearing.”


When reserving facilities for a SPECIAL EVENT, the reserving party is responsible for all necessary permits, licensing and insurance. If you plan to have activities in addition to the existing park facilities, you will be responsible for the safety of your guests while participating in those activities. This includes the use of inflatables. The Browne’s Ferry HOA takes no responsibility for your guests’ safety while attending your special event.

When reserving the court for play, the reserving party is responsible for all park guests’ actions.


At SPECIAL EVENTS, alcohol is permitted in small amounts (bottles or cans, no kegs) and must be supervised by a responsible adult over the age of 21. No underage drinking is permitted at any time. Glass is not permitted on the court. No smoking or tobacco of any kind is permitted, including cigarettes, cigars, vaporizers and/or e-cigarettes. No drug use is permitted at any time.

Amplified sound (louder than a boombox) is not permitted. The reserving party may not open the event to the general public, and the reserving party is responsible for all guests while they are on the property.

Set up & Clean up
Browne’s Ferry Park’s gazebo offers two outdoor power receptacles near the bases of two supports closest to the sidewalks. Discretion is advised when using these power sources, since the HOA is responsible for the utility payments. Decorations may be hung on the gazebo using staples or ribbon, but no nails or screws may be installed into the wood.

All trash must be collected from the event and taken with you for disposal in household rollout bins. DO NOT leave bags of trash at the park or attempt to fill the trash receptacles at the park. If the park is found to untidy after the event, the reserving party may be fined a minimum $50 to cover the cost of cleanup.

Upon leaving, the facility must be properly secured. If you use the parking area, be sure to reattach the chain and lock. If you use the court, close the gate.
