Community leaders focus on increasing volunteer participation

Volunteers from across Browne’s Ferry attended the City of Charlotte’s neighborhood board retreat and workshop on Saturday, July 16. One of the major take-aways from the workshop was the need for increased volunteer participation.

To help the community thrive, the year’s worth of community events will be scheduled at the Annual Meeting in January, and each event will have multiple opportunities of all sizes for neighbors.

Each event with volunteer opportunities will include a link to SignupGenius with ways to help. Upcoming events include Halloween, Christmas Train and a Panthers tailgate and viewing party at the park.
